Founding Commercial Lead
Company Description UCANACT develops brain-computer interface software and is founded by leading neurotechnology experts from UMC Utrecht. We help people with severe disabilities to communicate by turning their brain signals into computer actions and speech. By combining advanced AI with neuroscience, we build personalized solutions that adapt to individual users and their needs. Our technology is designed to work with both wearable and implantable neural devices, and integrates with hardware from multiple partners to ensure people can access the solution that works best for them. We are on a mission to bring cutting-edge brain technology out of the laboratory and into people’s everyday lives, helping restore communication, independence and connection for those who need it most.
Role Description You'll join the founding team and take ownership of building the commercial side of UCANACT. You'll work alongside the founders to define our commercial roadmap and position UCANACT within the rapidly evolving neurotechnology landscape. You will engage with key stakeholders and future partners, and prepare our go-to-market strategy for both wearable and implantable products. You'll ensure that commercial decisions are aligned with clinical and regulatory milestones while laying the groundwork for long-term customer, partner and user relationships. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy, responsibility and influence over the future direction of the company. The position is based in Utrecht, starts part-time as soon as possible, is expected to grow into a full-time role during 2027, and includes a management fee and equity package to be agreed on together.
